V Day

Yesterday was Elena's second visit with Dr. Wilson since coming home... and the day she received her vaccinations.

A few updates: she now weighs 10 lbs. and almost 15 ozs., up from 6 lbs. 12 ozs. when she was born. Elena is now just about 22 inches tall/long, up from 19 inches back on January 12.

The vaccinations went well, and her crying was very short lived. What I did notice, though, was that this was the first time I've heard her really cry. Everything up until now has obviously been grumpiness, hunger, etc. This one... this was pain. But again, it lasted all of about 5 seconds.
